Re: Drainage Project Update

 

In the fall of 2024, the Rural Municipality (RM) of North Qu’Appelle engaged Wyatt Engineering to develop an engineered concept for a drainage plan within the Erickson Heights subdivision.

To advance this initiative, the RM met with Wyatt Engineering on May 8, 2025, to review the proposed plan. As a result of this meeting, the RM has formally engaged Wyatt Engineering to apply for grant funding to support both the design and construction phases of the drainage plan. This work will include the potential construction of drainage features and will include the building or enlarging of some cul-de-sacs.

Until grant funding is secured, the RM will continue to follow its current drainage maintenance practices.

The current engineered drainage concept from Wyatt Engineering is included with this notice for residents’ reference.
